The Rajasthan government is currently working on scheme which will provide free horoscope reading to all new-born babies in private hospitals and also suggest a name for them depend on their Hindu astrological sign.
In the first stage of plan, it will be implemented in 5 government hospitals in Rajasthan where newborn babies will be given horoscopes without any cost. In the second stage, private hospitals will charge Rs. 101, and government hospitals Rs. 51, per horoscope.
Rajasthan have total 16,728 government hospitals and near around 54 registered private hospitals.
In 2018, assembly elections, the congress party had promised, to raise the Sanskrit language and the Sanskrit education, and to set up a Vedic education and rituals in the state.
According to the report, the scheme of offering horoscopes to all newborn babies in government as well as private hospitals is a part of an effort to complete that promise.
The meeting for the proposal was held on 3rd January. This scheme may be named as “Rajiv Gandhi Janmpatri-Namkaran Yojana”, stated in report.
As per the proposal, this scheme will useful to promote Vedic and Sanskrit knowledge and that will offer an employment to about 3,000 astrologers. Also, the astrologers should have a diploma or degree in astrology and will provide a license from Rajasthan government. These astrologers will be paid Rs. 80/- in private hospitals and Rs. 40/- in government hospitals for each horoscope they prepare. JRRSU will get the remaining Rs. 21 and Rs. 11 respectively.
For the testing purpose, the scheme will be implemented in Jaipur’s Mahila Chikitsalaya, Zenana Hospital, Kanwatiya Hospital, Sethi Colony Satellite Hospital and Jaipuria Hospital.
According to the scheme, every horoscope will have a unique code, using this code parents can download complete analysis from the JRRSU’s website by paying Rs. 200.
