The Indian automobile industry comprise two wheelers, cars, truck, buses, and others which plays significant role in Indian economic growth. India has developed as Asia’s fourth leading exporter of automobiles, behind South Korea, Japan, and Thailand. Hyundai’s new car model Santro nameplate with massive expectation and introduced in October 2018. In first month, the new Santro succeed to record 8,535 unit sales and in November the number increased with 9,009. The new model of Santro has started its journey with somewhat impressively. In previous month of 2018, the South Korean automobile officer recorded a total 7,197 units and it was the in the list of 12 best-selling car model in the India. Company is also planning to sell one-fourth production to the international markets from this year.
In December 2018, Maruti Suzuki Celerio gave massive discount and it was registered near about 9000 unit retailed in the last month. Other competitors such as Kwid and Tiago did drop behind the Santro with the recorded 5,832 and 5,628 units respectively.
The Santro is projected to sustain consistent sales statistics through this year and its revivified contest with Wagon R is going to be nothing kind of charming.
Hyundai’s Santro model is built on a new platform with priced between Rs. 3.89 Lacs and Rs. 5.64 lacs and broad features such as 63 % high strength steel structure powered by 1.1- liter.
