The leading company Microsoft has currently planning to integrate smartphones with advanced MR (Mixed Reality), a report said.
According to the report, it is a new patent which is signed by the company. In the patent, the company is planning on a number of input methods which can be leveraged when integrating with users to let users communicate with the improved virtual environment, the report said.
“This experience of Virtual Reality will allow users to interact with the various virtual entities. Several input devises can be used for interact with virtual objects: they are, hand-held controllers which offers rotational and traditional input,” Microsoft stated in the patent.
With the several inputs from a smartphone, the company has currently emphasized an idea of extending smartphone features by introducing MR overlay.
“The Virtual Reality may offer a new feature of the input device which visually shows the device and delivers a user interface to interacting with the VR and the device,” the patent allegedly added.
This patent represents that the company is expanding new ways of integrating MR and VR in its upcoming devices, specially smartphones.
Though, this is not the first time that the company is thinking about working on improving VR, MR and Augmented Reality (AR) practices and mix them up with their coming smartphones.
Another patent filed by iPhone-maker also represents that the company might be start working to develop an advanced AR-based headset which will work together with iPhone to allow user to experience the computer images are overlapped on the real world.
