Under the present circumstantial developments, Bosch Australia has been extended this development project to design and develop COVID-19 specific ventilators for Australia healthcare institutions by virtue of which the company has been selected to receive AUD $ 1 million.
Automotive manufacturer, Bosch Australia is touted to invest in developing over 4K ventilators that would be designed, developed, and assembled in local manufacturing facilities that would be later sent across various health care facilities and diagnostic units to pursue novel Corona virus testing practices a major pre-requisite for advanced disease diagnostics and therapeutics to contain further spread of the disease.
The project has been initiated by Victorian government and Advanced Manufacturing Growth Center who are aimed at offering relentless support to fight this massive pandemic, thereby ensuring that there is no dearth of essential equipment such as ventilators for adequate disease management.
The development is a massive milestone achievement not only for veterans like Bosch but also the entire gamut of manufacturing sector in Australia. Additionally, the development in itself speaks in volumes of the competence of healthcare delivery in the country, by virtue of which the country is looking forward to render uninterrupted support in COVID-19 therapeutics.
The initial batch of the coveted ventilators specific to COVID-19 therapeutic is expected to be available in the beginning of the coming month.
The manufacturers who are directly responsible for producing ventilators at such as bulk rate mainly comprise of local manufacturers who together form a dedicated consortium of Australia based manufacturers to offset transportation challenges of goods and essentials from neighboring countries, besides unavailability of skilled labor forces.
The resulting ventilators dedicated for Covid-19 treatment will henceforth be assessed and evaluated at Bosch Australia based automobile facility situated in Clayton in the outskirts of Melbourne city.
