Theresa May will be requesting the EU for delay to the Brexit limit to "break the deadlock" in Parliament. She mentioned that she will meet Jeremy Corbyn Labour leader, to come to a plan, and decide the future relationship with EU. However she mentioned that her withdrawal agreement would remain the same.
In revert to this Mr. Corbyn mentioned that he would meet the PM but would ensure that the plans are such that it protects workers. The cross-party discussions have further aggravated various brexiteers, with ministers accusing of assigning the final handling of Brexit to labors all across. He mentioned that Brexit is getting soft and likely to disintegrate and would never work with customs union.
The team has till 12 April to submit a plan to EU that should be accepted by them or they might scrap the deal. The deal that was agreed with EU in November 2018, has been rejected twice by huge numbers and hence it is required to withdraw agreement for the lost votes. The Member of Parliament have earlier held indicative votes to propose majority. UK will be leaving EU on 29 March but a short extension after understanding Parliament will be able to meet the deadline.
During her announcement, she mentioned that the extensions need to be very short so that it doesn’t affect the elections. She mentioned that she would agree to a new plan and will ask for vote before the 10 April. In case they do not agree on any term then she would put a number of other options to meet the MPs and determine the course further.
However the EU still has to agree to any extension.
