Apple’s most awaited video and news subscription services could be introduced in next month. The company is expected to host its grand event of 2019 on 25th March at Steve Jobs Theater, California, the report said. In lieu of new Airpods and iPads, Apple is likely to debut two novel services such as news subscription and video subscription product.
Over the past year, Apple has plans to introduce a ‘Netflix for news’ which will let subscribers pay $10 each month to get access from a number of publishers.
It will basically function as the paid version of Apple News also referred as ‘Netflix for magazines.’ The company reportedly said publishers that they have restricted access to data.
Apple’s news subscription service will be combined into Apple News app, allowing customers to subscribe to several titles for a monthly charge.
The content is expected to be included in Apple’s TV app on iPads, iPhones, and Apple TVs, which released in 2016. With Apple subscription, consumers can also able to pay a fee to access programs from further providers, such as Starz and others.
The updated Apple Video and News app will contain a Magazines tab just like app Surface, which Apple developed last year.
Apple's agreement with leading companies like Oprah Winfrey and others names such as Reese Steven Spielberg and Witherspoon will give Apple device vendor’s access to both TV and film content for no additional charges. The company is planning to provide its original content free of cost to device users, the report said.
Apple planned to expend near around $1 billion on the original content previous year, the Wall Street Journal stated. The company has approved to a number of series and movies already, comprising comedies, animated features, reality shows, most of which were assembled by Macworld here.
